Nepal Visa Information 

All foreigners require visa expect Indian people to travel in Nepal. The visa is issued at the entry point of Nepal Tribhuvan international airport, Nepalgunj, Sunauli, Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Mahendranagar, Dhanaghadi and also Kodari check post to Tibet border. All the foreigners are informed that the passport should have at least 6 months validity to get visa. Peoples from some of the countries like Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq, Ethiopia, Liberia, Somalia, Cameroon, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Nigeria should obtain visa from Nepal embassies or diplomatic missions in their respective countries.

One has to fill up an application from with passport phonograph in order to obtain visa upon arrival by air in Nepal. Some air line company may provide application from in flight. If not provided, the form will be available on the table in arrival hall.

A single entry visa that is valid for 15/30/90 days will cost: USD $ 25/40/100 respectively. Visa fee is not taken for children below 10 years. Credit card, Nepali currency, Indian currency are not taken as payment of visa fee. If you are planning to trip even to Tibet, Bhutan or India then you need multiple entry visa. Single entry visa cannot be charged to multiple to multiple entry visas at KTM central immigration office for US$ 20. Extra fee a photo and an online application form has to be filled up for your visa extension. It is available in KTM and Pokhara only and cost US$ 30 for 25 days extra with US$ 2 per day after that.
